Washington State Minimum Wage 2024 Exempt. The new state minimum wage for 2024 is $16.28 an hour. Beginning on january 1, 2024, the minimum wage in washington will go up to $16.28 per hour, up 3.4% from 2023 and the highest statewide minimum wage in the country.

This adjustment from the previous year’s $15.74 is a significant change for employers across the state. The minimum wage in the remainder of the state is $15.00 per hour.
